Coast Eyecare, PLLC opened its doors on July 7, 1997, in the Pass Christian Village Shopping Center on Highway 90 and Henderson Avenue.
Around the time that Dr. Benigno began to consider buying property to open a free standing office, Hurricane Katrina hit, which left a slab and a few floor tiles. Taking the advice of his father, he quickly opened a temporary medical trailer on Menge Avenue. He was up and running six weeks after the storm and soon began working on plans for an office of his own.
On September 24, 2007, Dr. Benigno opened Coast Eyecare's new and current location at 205 East 2nd street.
